Mixcloud provides you with a platform to upload and showcase your content, whether it's a captivating show or an individual track. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of uploading both shows and tracks, ensuring that your content reaches the audience it deserves.
How do I upload a show?
To upload a show on Mixcloud, follow the steps below (please note that this is only available through the desktop platform and not the Mixcloud app):

While logged in to your Mixcloud account click on Create on the top bar and then choose Upload:
or click Upload from the options on your dashboard:

Choose Upload Show from the options presented on the next page:

Choose a file over 15 minutes in length to upload.
Lossless and lossy formats are supported.
Accepted formats are: WAV, AIFF, FLAC or AAC, OGG, M4A, MP2, MP3 and WMA. -
Add a title for your upload.

Click Upload.

The next page will allow you to add the following:
- A show image.
- A show description.
- Tags for the show.
- The show's tracklist.
Once you've completed all the steps and the progress bar has hit 100%, click Publish at the bottom of the screen.
Creator Subscription (formally Select) creators
If you're a Creator Subscription creator, you'll be given the option to make your upload Exclusive. Check out our Uploading an Exclusive FAQ for more information.
Pro creators
If you're a Pro creator, you'll have some advanced options when uploading a show to Mixcloud. These can be found at the bottom of the screen before you publish.

How do I upload a track?
To upload a track on Mixcloud follow the steps below (please note that this is only available through the desktop platform and not the Mixcloud app):

Choose Upload Track from the options presented on the next page

Choose a file under 15 minutes in length to upload.

The next page will allow you to add the following:
- A track image.

Read through and agree to the terms of use for Mixcloud Tracks.
Remember you must hold all the rights to the music you're uploading. Copyrighted music will not be allowed to be uploaded as a track.
Once you've completed all the steps and the progress bar has hit 100%, click Publish at the bottom of the screen.
Pro Creators
If you're a Pro creator, you'll have some advanced options when uploading a track to Mixcloud. These can be found at the bottom of the screen before you publish.
