All uploads to Mixcloud need to be processed before they can be made available for publishing.
Normally, a show will only take up to a few minutes to process. However, this can take longer, and we recommend checking back later by returning to your drafts folder to check if your show is ready to publish.
If your upload is still showing as 'processing' after an unusually long wait, or if you're no longer able to see the upload listed in your drafts folder, there may be a processing or compatibility issue preventing your show from publishing.
We recommend trying to re-upload your show. If the issue occurs again, this may indicate that there's a problem with the file you attempted to upload or with your network connection.
We advise that you try to re-export your audio as a different file type (we support WAV, AIFF, FLAC or AAC, OGG, M4A, MP2, MP3 or WMAs) and that you remove any embedded artwork from the file and any special characters from your file name and upload title.
If the issue persists after trying these changes, please try:
- Switching off any firewalls, VPNs, or background software/apps that may interfere with your connection to Mixcloud.
- Uploading using an incognito or private browsing window. This will help rule out any browser extension or configuration-related issues.
- Using a different network to upload your show.
