However, scammers may try to get you to send them your personal information by creating fake profiles and sending messages that look like they're from our team.
If you receive a message that you're concerned about in your inbox at https://www.mixcloud.com/my-messages/:
- Check who the sender is by clicking on their username (above their message).
- The official Mixcloud profile is https://www.mixcloud.com/mixcloud/. If you're directed to any other account, it's likely a scam or phishing attempt.

Accounts used by the Mixcloud team display the following yellow badge under their profile picture, which displays the words 'Staff Member' when you hover over it:
If a profile claims to be associated with the Mixcloud team but doesn't display this badge, please report it to us.
- Do not click any of the links in the message they've sent you.
- You should avoid clicking any links that appear suspicious, or that were sent to you by users you don't know.

- Report the account to our team via the following form so we can take further action: https://help.mixcloud.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
- Please include the URL for the account that messaged you.
- If you think that the message might be legitimate, please report this to us before you reply to the message you received or click any links within the message. Our Support Team will be happy to verify this for you to help keep your account safe.
- Block the sender.
- This will help to prevent them from sending you any further messages.
