Policies to keep you safe
Community Guidelines
Our Community Guidelines are in place so all users can understand our expectations when it comes to conduct on the platform.
This is a set of rules that applies to all public and private use of the platform, including any content that users upload, as well as their interactions with other users through comments, live stream chats, and more.
Terms of Use
Our Terms of Use are agreed to by all users who choose to use the platform, and these outline any legal rights and obligations.
Three Strikes Policy
We have a Three Strikes Policy for any action that goes against our terms. Users who breach our terms will receive two warnings, and if a further breach happens, their account will be removed.
However, please be aware that Mixcloud reserves the right to remove any content or account that we deem to be in violation of our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines at any point. In exceptional circumstances, an account may be removed before Three Strikes have been reached.

Content uploaded by you

If you are featured in another user's content (eg. in an interview) and you no longer wish to be on the platform, we first recommend that you reach out directly to the user and ask them to edit or remove it.

Please provide as much information as possible, including what personal information is shared and where this information is being shared (please include links and timestamps if applicable).

What happens next?
We take all reports of breaches of our user code of conduct very seriously, and we will investigate every report we receive.
Our Support team will use the information you have provided and internal records and tools to investigate the reported user's conduct on the Mixcloud platform.
Appropriate action will be taken if we find behaviour that has breached our terms. This can include providing a warning, removing or editing content, or removing user accounts from the platform.
We're dedicated to making sure we respect the privacy of all of our users. This means that:
- If we need to contact a user who has been reported, we will not disclose who the report came from.
- We will only discuss warnings or other penalties directly with the reported account holder. We may not be able to provide the person who reported them with an update on these actions.
Please note that we're not able to enforce our Community Guidelines for action that has taken place outside of the Mixcloud platform. Thank you for your understanding.
