If you no longer wish to have contact with another Mixcloud user, you can block them.
When you block a user:
- They will not receive a notification that they have been blocked.
- They won't be able to send messages to you.
- They won't be able to comment on your uploads.
- They won't be able to participate in the chat when you broadcast a livestream on Mixcloud.
- If they aren't following you before you block them, they'll be unable to follow you.
⚠️ As Mixcloud is an open platform, please note that blocked users will still be able to see your profile, access your public uploads, and watch your live streams. Additionally:
- If the user was following you before you blocked them, they will not be removed as a follower.
- If you follow the user, you will still see their content on your feed and receive notifications unless you unfollow them and/or update your notificaton settings.
- If the blocked user interacts with your content (eg. favoriting a show), this may still be visible on your profile or in your notifications.
- Blocking applies to your profile and content only. You will be able to see their comments on other creators' uploads, and they will be able to participate in other creators' livestreams.
