FAQ: Payouts for Creator Subscriptions

Creators with a Pro subscription can monetize their Mixcloud profiles with our Tipping and Creator Subscriptions features. 

To be eligible for a Creator Subscription payout, you'll need to:

When and how will I receive my payout?

Your account must have a balance of over $50 USD in profits before your first payout is processed. 

Once you've reached this threshold, you will be eligible to be paid out in the next payout cycle. Payments are processed via bank transfer, and we use Wise as our payment processor. 

⚠️ If your balance has exceeded $50 USD and your first payout is due, please fill in our Creator Subscription Payout Details form and return it to the team at Support@Mixcloud.com. 

How often are payouts processed?

We calculate payouts once per calendar month.

If your balance is over $50 USD on the 1st of the month: 

  • Your account will be eligible to receive a payout.
  • If we have your payment details on file, we'll attempt to process your payout automatically
    • If you haven't received your first payout, please send us your details. 
  • You can expect the payout to reach you in up to 15 business days. 

If your balance is under $50 USD on the 1st of the month, you will not receive a payout and your total profits will roll over until you next exceed this minimum threshold. 

Why haven't I received a payout?

Some common reasons why you may not have received your payout include: 

  • Your account's balance may not have exceeded the minimum threshold by the 1st of the month. 
  • You may need to provide or update your bank details. 
    • If you haven't received your first payment yet, we may not have your bank details on file. 
    • If you've updated or changed your bank details, your payment may have bounced. Please update your details so we can retry your payment next month. 

  • Your payment may be delayed for processing reasons. 
    • Please note it takes up to 15 business days for the payment to reach your account. This does not include weekend days or UK bank holidays. 
    • Some banks may require payments to undergo additional processing before they release the funds to your account. 

If your balance is over $50 USD and over 15 business days have passed, please contact our Support Team for assistance. 

Can I use my balance for payments for Boosts or my Mixcloud subscription(s)?

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to use your Creator Subscriptions balance towards payments for Boosts, Mixcloud Pro, Mixcloud Premium, or payments for Creator Subscriptions to other users' profiles. 

Can I combine my balance for Tips and Creator Subscriptions?

We want to provide our Creators with as much flexibility as possible when it comes to monetization, so Tipping and Creator Subscriptions are two separate features. 

As it's possible to enable just one of these features, we calculate and process these balances separately, and it's not currently possible for us to combine your profits from these features. We're sorry for the inconvenience. 

I need to provide or update my bank details. 

If you need to provide or update your bank details, please complete the Creator Subscriptions Payout Form and email a copy to Support@Mixcloud.com. 

NB: We offer this form as a PDF or DOCX. Both forms are identical and we only require you to return one version.
