This article covers the most common causes of login issues and how to resolve them, so you can get back to enjoying Mixcloud as soon as possible.

Password issues
Re-enter your password
If you use a password manager to automatically enter your password, try typing it in instead. This will help resolve any issues with out-of-date credentials saved to your password manager.
Reset your password
On a computer
To reset your password via a computer, go to https://www.mixcloud.com/ and click 'Login' at the top right of the page.
Click 'Forgot your password?' and enter either your Mixcloud username or the email address connected to your Mixcloud account.
In the mobile app
To reset your password via one of our mobile apps, follow the steps below:
- Open the app and tap 'Login with email'
- At the bottom of the form, tap 'Forgot password?'
- On the following screen, enter the email address you used to create your Mixcloud account
- Tap the 'Send new password link' button
- If you can't tap the button, please double-check that there are no typos or spaces in your email address, and try disabling any VPNs.
I haven't received a password reset link
Your password reset link may take a few minutes to arrive. Please check your spam and/or trash folders for an email from noreply@mixcloudmail.com.
You may also want to add noreply@mixcloudmail.com to your safe senders list or email contacts to help make sure the email reaches your inbox.
If you haven't received a password reset link, or you no longer have access to the email address associated with your Mixcloud account, get in contact with our Support Team so we can help.
The password reset link doesn't work
Links expire after some time for security reasons. You may need to request a new password reset link following the steps above.
If clicking or tapping the link takes you to an unexpected page on the site or app, please try copy-pasting the link directly into your browser app.
Note: The password reset link will only work if you're not currently logged in. If you're already logged in on the device you're using to reset your password, please try logging out before clicking the link again, or paste the link into an incognito/private browser tab.
Email/username issues
You can log in using either your username or email address.
This field is case sensitive, and we also recommend double-checking for common spelling issues. For example, if you signed up with a '@googlemail.com' account, you won't be able to sign in using '@gmail.com'.
Note: Your username and display name may be different. You can find your username by checking the web address for your Mixcloud account. Your username can be found towards the end of the address, for example: https://www.mixcloud.com/your-username/
I can't remember my email address/username
If you're unable to remember the username and email address connected to your account, or you've lost access to the address, get in contact with our Support Team so we can help.
Please include the URL for your profile and the email address you used to set up the account to help expedite your request.
Connection issues
I use a VPN
VPNs may interfere with your connection and prevent you from logging in or using the platform as expected.
If you use a VPN, we recommend that you temporarily disable it and try logging in again. This will help narrow down whether the issue is with your login credentials or your connection.
If you can log in successfully when your VPN has been switched off, you may wish to disable it while using Mixcloud or try a different server and/or VPN service.
Background apps
Some background apps or software (for example, firewalls) may also cause issues with properly connecting to the site. Please try closing out any software or apps running in the background before trying to log in again.
Managed networks/devices
If your network and/or device are managed by a third party, such as an employer or place of education, there may be limits or blocks preventing you from accessing some sites. If your login issue is limited to the managed device or network, please reach out to your administrator to enable you to visit Mixcloud or use the app.
I signed up using Facebook
Signing in on mobile
Facebook login is no longer supported in the mobile app. However, you can still access your Mixcloud account using an email address and password.
Please use a computer to log in to Mixcloud using Facebook login at http://mixcloud.com/login.
Once you're logged in on a computer, you can follow these instructions to set up a new password.
After your password has been set, you can use it to log in via your mobile device.
If you've deleted your Facebook account
If you've deleted your Facebook account, you may be able to request a password reset link if you previously added an email address to your Mixcloud profile. Please try these steps:
- Enter your Mixcloud username.
- You can find your username in your account URL: https://www.mixcloud.com/[USERNAME]/
- If you're not sure what your username or URL is, please enter the email address associated with your Facebook account.
- Enter any password (you will not need to remember or reuse this later) and click Log in.
- You will be shown the following message:
- Click the Forgot your password: Reset it here. link under the login form to receive a password reset email (illustrated in the image below):
- Check your email account for the password reset link. The email should reach your account within a few minutes.
- Please check your spam and trash folders if the email doesn't reach your inbox.
- If you entered a username when you attempted to log in, please note that the email address that the password reset is sent to may be the one you used to create your Facebook account.
- Follow the instructions in the password reset email to create your password, and use your username and email address with this password to log in to Mixcloud on any platform.
⚠️ Please note that you will need access to a computer and the email address associated with your Facebook account to complete these steps. Once your password has been set up, you'll be able to log into Mixcloud on any device.
If you don't have access to a computer and/or the email account associated with Facebook, please contact our Support team.
I still can't log in to Mixcloud
If you still can't log in to your Mixcloud account, please get in touch with our Support Team and we'll be happy to help.
For security, we may ask for a few details to confirm you're the account owner before we can provide access, or extra information to help us troubleshoot the issue you're seeing. To help expedite your request, please include:
- The URL for the profile you're trying to access
- Any email address(es) you may have used to sign up to Mixcloud
- The device you're trying to log in on, and if you can log in successfully on any other devices
