You can receive two types of notifications about Spotlights on Mixcloud:
- 'Added to Spotlights', when another user has promoted your profile to their followers by adding you to their Spotlights.
- 'New Spotlight suggestions', when another user has selected their Spotlights, so you can check out what they're enjoying on Mixcloud.
You can opt out of email and push notifications any time by following the steps below:
On a computer:
- Log in to Mixcloud.
- Navigate to your Notification Settings at https://www.mixcloud.com/settings/notifications/.

Uncheck the box next to the notifications you no longer wish to receive:
- Changes will save automatically. If you'd like to update this setting again in the future, you can navigate back to this page and re-check this box.
Via the mobile app:
- Log in to your Mixcloud account.
- Tap Home and then tap the Settings button (the cog icon at the top-right).
- Tap the notification type you want to switch off (email and/or push notifications).
- NB: Push notification settings are specific to your device. If you use the Mixcloud app on more than one mobile device, you'll need to update the settings on each phone or tablet.
- Tap to toggle off the notifications you no longer wish to receive:
- 'Added to Spotlights' can be found under 'Your Profile & Uploads'.
- 'New Spotlight suggestions' can be found under 'Content Updates & Recommendations'.
- Tap the 'Back' arrow at the top of the screen to save your changes.
Via email:
You can click the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any emails from Mixcloud to update your settings.
