Hello,
I am writing to you today to inform you of changes to Mixcloud.
We recently launched a new short-form audio content format on the platform which we have named 'tracks': https://www.mixcloud.com/tracks
We categorize a 'track' as any audio less than 15 minutes in length (irregardless of whether it contains music), everything else remains a show.
You were given special access to upload short-form audio in the past, and all of your uploads remain safe on the platform. However, we are now transitioning to a public release of this feature and introducing a limit of 5 published tracks for free creator accounts.
To continue uploading short-form audio you will either need to delete / unpublish enough of them to get under this limit, or alternatively upgrade to a Pro plan for unlimited tracks: https://www.mixcloud.com/pro
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via:support@mixcloud.com
Best,
Nico Perez
